On June 26, Shonai was blanketed in a light drizzle all day. Some flights had to turn back to Haneda, while others barely made it to Shonai Airport—making it quite the challenging travel day for many teams. Even so, the players showed no signs of fatigue. Bright and early this morning, they arrived at the venue ready to go as official practice kicked off! With four courts available, each country was given a two-hour slot to train. Teams checked the court conditions carefully and shared space respectfully, creating a calm and cooperative atmosphere. …Or so it seemed—some teams were already jumping into practice matches with others! That’s right—the mind games and match strategies have already begun behind the scenes! With the tournament just around the corner, the energy is definitely building!
